Sometimes it's nice to know a little about craft-person and their work.

I was born and raised in Torbay on the beautiful Devon coast,   where I still live with my husband, two sons  our 12 year old German   Shepherd,  Meg and our 11 month Czechoslovakian wolfdog Maska.

Creating things has always been a passion. It's so exciting, because there is always something new to design and make. I started out making beaded jewellery using semi-precious gemstones and hilltribe silver. I then got interested in lampworked glass beads, which can be so stunning, with so many colours, markings and textures. I intended making my own beads, but  discovered the art of glass fusing, so bought a small kiln in order to make dichroic glass pendants. I now have a larger one, and am able to create the larger pieces of glassware.  I suppose I am obsessed, but then most people become that way once they start working with glass.
